Context
The CDA Institute, in collaboration with the Canadian Defence Academy, is pleased to invite you to a roundtable with a delegation from Ukraine’s National Defence University.
Shortly after the full-scale Russian invasion in February 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to collect and analyze key lessons learned from the battlefield. Over the course of several years, their military education institutions have developed key lessons learned to share with NATO member countries. This presentation by the Armed Forces of Ukraine will explore the Changing Character of War through expert presentations on:
- Russian information operations, Special Operations Forces (PsyOps), strategic communications, and the Russia-Ukraine War
- Russian and Ukrainian strategic and operational perspectives
- Logistics
- Unmanned aerial vehicles, air defence, and war in the air
- National resilience, mobilization, territorial defence, economic resilience, volunteers, and humanitarian assistance
- NCO small-unit leadership
- Personnel recovery
